  2. The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor "Quasi una fantasia", Op. 27, No. 2, popularly known as the Moonlight Sonata, is a piano sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven. Completed in 1801 and dedicated in 1802 to his pupil, Countess Giulietta Guicciardi, it is one of Beethoven's most popular compositions for the piano.

  27. my poem commentary notes :) Hope this one can showcase some original perspectives of that famous song. Subdued in love was our great composer, like a long narrowboat moves out of a lock in only one way and cannot easily turn. The music could be just dry without his intention committed, and it was in love not grasped, not concierge-d. The issues in Beethoven’s bestowed love with his pupil were broadly his age, half-deafness and class that had prevented him from doing anything better. Out of lady luck, he was suffering from discord, heartbreak, and the disjoining power of love in such a cruel duel. Critics regard the song as a pinnacle of composition, admiring that it has beautifully topped up with the most unbridled emotion as well as astounded ferocity in its representation. Its ferocity is formidable in the form of “my dragons”, astonishing even today in performance. Interestingly, the dragons are confined in a cavern of birds and making peace with them, with farfetchedness that seems to be oddly going by among a hitch, a recess, and a resurrection. Those aims could have backfired, and so the most celebrated song was produced in response to such adversity and status unknown to the outsider. [My discomfort of knowing all women around me is as hard as the matinal hour strikes.]From the dance school to a cavern of dragons and birds, plus the dictional disappearance of love in the last stanza, the poem provides us a very absurd and sharp break. Despite some guessing, I can no further do the unknown, regarding his trouble with love. More often in the poem, gloomy words and cheerless images are used: dry worm, dry rose, sad fanlight, solemnity... to give a moonshine overview. *moonlight sonata*
